Plain French policy

Privacy

Plain French collects only the information needed to provide the free module, learner account, support, and course access. We use this information to manage access, answer learner questions, and improve the learning experience.

Data: Limited learner records

We store account details, lesson progress, support questions, and access status so the learning path works.

Source: Limited signup attribution

When you use a Plain French campaign link, we may store one fixed campaign label with your account. We do not store the referring URL or free-form tracking details.

Requests: Demo response consent

If you request a live demo, we store your name, email, request source, and the time and version of your response-only consent so Aarnav can reply. This does not subscribe you to newsletters or marketing.

Security: Abuse prevention

We store a network address or a one-way digest derived from an account or confirmation credential in rate-limiting records to protect signup, login, support, and other forms from abuse. Each record carries an expiry timestamp, but the row may remain until operational cleanup.

Calls: Phone inquiries

If you call Plain French, we may receive your phone number and any voicemail you leave. We use it only to respond to your inquiry. Calling does not sign you up for text messages or marketing. Phone support is available in English.

Use: Support and improvement

Information is used to answer French-learning questions, manage access, and improve lessons.

Choice: Contact for help

Learners can email plainfrench@outlook.com with privacy questions or account requests.
